You can contact them and add PT, if you're open to it I suggest doing so ASAP.
Maybe. I'll think about it, but my only concern right now is money and PT is just REALLY expensive, so I don't think it would end up being a viable option for me.
Does anyone know if it is completely unlikely to receive money from the waitlist?

Ah sounds like you made the right choice with FT Only. Looking through last year's version of this thread it seems highly unlikely but nothing is impossible.

I'm down once we get the class list! how much are you looking to get for them and what do you have?

Don't worry too much...I marked both and I'm still waiting!! And our numbers are pretty similar if I'm remembering correctly.

i just got in off the UT waitlist recently, so there is a decent chance i'll be withdrawing sometime within the next few weeks and freeing up a bit of scholarship money for someone else.

Recently admitted off of the wait-list for the PT program. I'm definitely in a tough position, considering my recent commitment to UH. Anyway, best of luck to those still waiting and hopefully you all see similar movement soon

Not sure if anyone would even know yet, but has anyone admitted off the waitlist received any money?

Yeah, some PTers were awarded scholarships in the $5-10K per year range.

Ok Cool. I'm guessing any scholarship offers would come at a later date?

Admitted on 6/16 to PT, but got no call or e-mail. I checked my status this morning and was admitted. I live in Dallas and had already planned on meeting with them this morning, so I went up there. Got my admissions packet, and $8k/year in scholarship. Good luck to you guys. It was a brutal wait, but keep the faith.

Has anyone been able to contact financial aid to see when we will receive the full break down? It seems like we are getting really close to the starting point and still nothing in the mail. I have tried contacting the office but either no one picks up or no one returns my emails.

I don't understand why SMU is like this. All the other schools I've had contact with seem to do everything they can to answer your question, but I keep hearing about how slow SMU is and all my contact with them thus far has not been helpful, even about just basic issues. It concerns me, but hopefully it's confined to the administrative areas of the school.
I might just be getting tense because I've been waiting for 7 months and haven't even been admitted to PT..

What are my chances of getting into SMU with a 3.75/162?

Originally they said June 15, then I talked to someone (probs a student worker) who said by the end of June. Now Pony Tracks says check back after July 5. Siiiiiiiiiiiigh...everyone else I know at other schools has already gotten their award finalized.

Check the last few years' worth of applicants at LSN. it looks like someone this year was WL with a 162/3.85, but that could have been a YP...? I would say you probably have a good chance of getting in (possibly with $), too.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
