Hey guys.

So don't hate me BUT one of my friends called the admissions office today and asked them when the next wave of decisions are expected to come. They said end of the month at the earliest...

I REALLY hope the person who answered just didn't know

I'm skeptical of this. Could it be the case that there was a communication and the intended message was "by the end of the month at the latest"?

I don't think so, but I really hope it was.

Someone should call and confirm!

I just reviewed last cycle's LSN profile. Looks like there were major waves on 3/29 and 5/7 with only a sprinkling of decisions between the two.

Then looking at this cycle, there was a major wave on 3/19, with a few decisions coming in on 3/20 & 3/21.

So, I suppose the end of the month is plausible given last cycle's major gap and the fact that we already had a big wave in late March this cycle.

Waves in general. I think all were mixed, which I think is to be expected late in a cycle.

Yes, my interviewer said that it was not definitive. They are aware we have other deadlines to meet, so they were hoping it would take a week or two.

We don't know. My interviewer was hoping by mid April that they will have released another wave of decisions.

Aren't date changes typically followed by decisions soon thereafter (as in, within a couple of days at most)? Not that anything this late in the game would follow a pattern even approaching typical...

Anyway, here's hoping that they get to sending out decisions on the recent wave of interviewees tomorrow, before they get too wrapped up in prepping for ASW.

I, for one, will be coping with the waiting stress in the healthiest way possible: getting my hopes up and browsing last minute flight options frantically .

The exact same thing happened to me! Now I feel less special haha. These schools are driving me insane.
