But yes, I second LS22, LOTR movies are better then the Hobbit ones and the books are also a must read.

Definitely should have been one, simple movie. All the extra storylines and shit he is adding just dilute the story and make it a bore. Also, PJ would want you to know its New Zeland not Australia lol.

For everyone who was wondering about Butler/Hamilton a few pages back, I remembered reading this a while back and it may help. Here's a LSN analysis of who received a Butler/Hamilton in past cycles (the 2010 data is incomplete):

2010 cycle: 14 Hamiltons 8 Butlers
2009 cycle: 14 Hamiltons 17 Butlers
2008 cycle: 12 Hamiltons 17 Butlers
2007 cycle: 24 Hamiltons 4 Butlers
2006 cycle: 11 Hamiltons 8 Butlers

So in some years there were more Hamiltons than Butlers (2007 especially when only 4 Butlers were reported) and in other years, it was the opposite. HTH

The second was worse than the first, IMHO. I actually struggled to get through it. They should have stuck with the original plan to only make two hobbit movies. There was just way too much filler.

Dwarves - Chicago (I mean, c'mon, they have the Rubies)
