Re: USC c/o 2016 Applicants
Does anyone know what happens after you "accept" a scholarship and pay a seat deposit? Like, if more fund open up, are they reserved for those who have not received anything/ on the WL, or will they consider everyone to re-allocate those funds? Also, has anyone been successful in getting their offer increased more than once?

They will say early May.eki wrote:Still in C1 review. It's already 4/21, and the first tuition deposit is a little over a week from now. I feel like I should contact them to ask what's taking them so long, but I don't want to make my situation worse. At this point I'm resigned to the likelihood that I will be waitlisted or dinged, but I want to know for sure. Would it be a good idea to contact USC Law and try to politely ask when I should expect a decision on my status?

For those of you negotiating, there is hope! I sent an email last week and today I received a scholarship after initially receiving $0.

In Final Review finally! Unfortunately I didn't go into C2 review, so it's likely I'll be either dinged or waitlisted

Re: USC c/o 2016 Applicants
i did mine earlier this week. they let you upload video so its not exactly "live" - you can do however many takes you need (just make sure you only upload your final cut as anything you upload is immediately published to the admissions committee) you get three minutes to answer two of four questions. i used the webcam record function of youtube to film, then downloaded from youtube site and uploaded to the usc link they gave you. you can only use webcam, no professional video or editing allowed.KanyeShrug wrote:I wrote another LOCI, but I want to do the video too.RetakeFrenzy wrote:I just decided to write a LOCI instead...mcs268 wrote:So did any WL'ers do the video interview yet, or are we all just waiting for someone to do it first? It's due this Friday.
What are you guys wearing? I'm not sure if I should go full on suit, or just where a nice business casual shirt.
Please somebody do it first and tell me EXACTLY what it's like.

Thanks for the info! I was concerned if there was only "one take", so that was good to know!
Still don't know what to wear haha. Guess I'll go with a suit still.

Decision Finalized! But I haven't received any emails or calls yet. How do they usually notify you? By email or phone? And how long after finalizing a decision to they tell you?

Just out of curiosity, did any of the WL'ers submit the video interview? I did it earlier and it only took like 10 20 30 tries to get a take I liked
