Wow, those are great numbers for WUSTL even for a non-URM. Anything bad in your record or application? I'd write a LOCI, because those numbers and URM status should get you big $.

Oh I plan on it. I was really just informing others of the wl'd numbers.
Also nothing bad on the application romo. I think they expected me to get into another school (they were right somehow).

If you take Stanford out of the mix (because I'm still positive I should not have gotten in), then WUSTL would've been a serious contender. Kind of moot now though.

I think it's obviously because they basically accepted everyone that applied with a 168+ LSAT and threw tons of money at them too. So lots of people are still considering WUSTL as their financially safe choice I think. I think they'll end up with lots of people coming off the wait list.

WUSTL's admissions office is worst one I delt with this cycle.

Agreed. Admissions practices in times like this make me and my 2.4 feel dirty and shameful.

I am shocked I was WL and not rejected... 3.69/163.

Here's to my top WL thus far! Weird, this feels more like an acceptance than a WL for me.

Yeah, wow...

I was actually BLOWN AWAY that I was wait listed... in a GOOD way...haha.

My numbers aren't anywhere nears his, so I figured my URM and non trad status got me on the list... but now I'm not sure.

Crazy! Those numbers and URM should nearly be a full ride at Wustl I'd think!

Oh and yeah, they indicated in my email that they expect to take people from the wait list this year and made it sound like it was just a matter of waiting out the first batch of acceptances to withdraw.

I felt exactly the same way. I actually celebrated a WL when I got this one!

I mean, it's nice to say that I was not REJECTED from a T-20 school... and since this is the only one I applied to, I suppose I can say that (for now).

When did everyone say they were waiting until? I put August 1st, but I wanted to put "until the bitter end"

I put July 1, but that's because I have to give myself some time to move if I end up at one of my other top choices... I live in STL, so if they accept me, it's not an issue, but if I wait until the end and then they reject... I would have to stay here and go to SLU, which, honestly, isn't a problem for me.

I put the beginning of June because of issues with my wife's job (she's a teacher, and the latest she can break a contract is the middle of June).

WL email today as well. Looks like they sent out a massive batch of WLs today. Email says they are already over-committed so not holding much hope but feel the need to ride this thing out.
