Re: Fordham Waiting Room
Based on the previous year's results on LSN we should buckle down for another 3-4 weeks at least. Tough, really tough. I expected to be hearing from more schools around this time but it has been a really quiet couple of weeks.

So, I just got back to my desk and had a giant basket full of delicious goodies, gift cards and a letter from Fordham congratulating me on my acceptance with a full tuiton scholarship. The letter also informed me this will be standard procedure for all admits from now on!

Lmao, that would be epic. Maybe they'll stumble upon this post and decide to alter their post-acceptance congratulation procedures.Cardboardbox wrote: I could start making up good news?

Re: Fordham Waiting Room
Just curious, I applied on 11/12 with 3.87/166.
I lost the status checker email before I could set a password, and my attempts to email them to ask for them to reissue or reset have been unsucessful....whereabouts should I be? I don't even know if I'm complete XD

Seriously, that's absolutely insane. That's like 'Congrats! You got in! Here's a basket of puppies! You can just play with them all day, we'll clean up after them.'Cupidity wrote:What the hell are your numbers?!?!
I'm kind of hoping to just get in based on some obvious clerical error.

You get an email from the dean and it shows up on their website but you're not sure it's legit?bluepepsi wrote:The event shows up on their website (--LinkRemoved--) but do you think it's legit?
Congrats on the acceptance and invitation.

HAPPY FRIDAY!!!!
Could today be the day?
It COULD... c'mon! It could!
Oh, and Fordham? The morning light really brings out your eyes.
Have I told you, lately, how pretty you are?

Happy Friday indeed! Day 46 of waitlist purgatory.
nygrrrl, maybe you need to tell Fordham who's boss. I like the buttering tactic, but think that Fordham might respond better to a whipping.

You know, Rocky, that's an excellent point. Maybe she's tired of always being the one in charge. I'll have to rework my approach, here...rockthelaw wrote:Happy Friday indeed! Day 46 of waitlist purgatory.

My birthday is on (oops). I'd like to get in by then. It would be the best birthday present.

I was WL'd on the 14th and still haven't received my "do you still wanna be on the waitlist" letter. Should I call and ask for another one?

It took 2 1/2 weeks for me to receive the waitlist letter in the mail after the status changed on my status checker, if that helps.Stellar wrote:I was WL'd on the 14th and still haven't received my "do you still wanna be on the waitlist" letter. Should I call and ask for another one?

Thanks Rocky ... I was having visions of my name at the end of a million-person-too-bad-they-got-their-letter-earlier-than-you waitlist.

So I didn't bring lunch with me today to the office...someone's perfect sandwich is lying in the fridge (whole wheat bread included! I love whole wheat). I'm so tempted to eat it

Don't do it! (Think of the addendum you'd have to send Fordham!)
