Still no letter from SLS here. (I'm in New England, so a 4/12 waitlist could still be on its way.) I already put down a deposit at my realistic #1 (scholarship deadline, and I'd be totally happy going there), but I recognize it would be foolish to close the SLS door without knowing whether it's an option.

I admit I feel flattered to have made it this far. (What?? Dean Deal wasn't speaking directly to me when she wrote about trying to fit certain people into the class??) Does anyone have guesses about how many applicants have yet to receive a decision? The suspense. . .

Good luck to the others waiting, and especially those for whom Stanford is clearly the top choice!

My letter was allegedly sent on 4/12 but I didn't get anything today. I'm in PA.

Does anyone else remember applying to undergrad, when all the schools said they'd let you know by April 1, and then THEY DID? That was awesome.

I didn't hear back from Stanford UG until April 4 or so, when the packet they snail mailed to me on April 1 arrived in NYC.

Haha, yes. Though, for UG, I made my decision about which school I'd attend while standing at my mailbox on April 29th. Took about 20 minutes for me to finally put a check in the mail, and when I walked inside my mom had to ask "where are you going to school?"

Law school has been a slightly different (and in many ways, better) process.

wow, that sounds scary! Don't know if I could have done that. Although for my UG I only applied to one school. Thankfully I got in....
