I was able to generate the login email, but the credentials don't work yet.

Complete 1/27, alumni interview request 2/26, alumni interview 3/15. Reverse splitter.
Congratulations!! FYI I couldn't use the credentials for about 6 days (around the same time I got the snail mail they started working).

Congratulations!

Do you think you will attend?
Thank you! I honestly didn't think I would get in, so now I need to look into what the COA is going to be and compare it to my other options.

I believe I was admitted via Admitted Students Website, as well! That's what it means if I am sent login credentials, right?! I'm still hesitant to tell my friends/family until I have a letter in hand..

Had the alumni interview this morning. Seems like it went well, feel pretty positive. Now for the real agonizing part of the wait.

What's the deal with scholarship offers?

I got put in the "alternate" pool... Do you think they'll end up giving us anything?

I hope so, but it doesn't sound good when they are already raising other peoples' offers.

So I'm a waitlisted candidate. I've sent in another letter of recommendation as well as the optional video (during my regular app) and have noted my continued interest. Is there anything else I can/should do? I have not done a campus visit yet.

I know there is some variability as it is largely dependent upon the alumnus, but any idea as to how long the alumni interviews last?
Is it closer to 15-30 minutes or 45-60? Skype interview this Saturday.

Entirely depends on your interviewer. Mine was less than 10. I kind of regret even doing the interview, to be honest, because there is no way that my interviewer could have gotten a good sense of my value as a candidate from the very few questions she asked. And then I ended up being rejected when the rest of my application should have been solid enough at least for a waitlist, so I worry that my interviewer gave me an unfair review which hurt my application.

Thanks for the response, sorry you had a bad interview experience...

Meh, I'm only a tiny bit bitter, and I'm not even sure why since I likely couldn't afford to go to Georgetown anyway. Good luck on your interview! I'm sure it will go better than mine. :)

And in contrast to the other poster's experience mine lasted close to 50 minutes. So I think there's considerable variation and it'd be hard to predict unless someone had interviewed with your exact interviewer previously.

Did anybody have around a week turnaround from when they had their interview to their decision notification? I interviewed this past Monday and would love to know if there's any possibility I'll hear back before the ASW on the 31st...

I interviewed on 3/15 and was admitted via ASW on 3/22 so it's definitely possible. The only thing is since they mail the letters and I'm assuming they don't know that we've all figured out the ASW trick, you probably *shouldn't* know that you got accepted if it happens next week. I have no idea how to handle that. lol

My interview did get delayed a few weeks with multiple alum not responding to them so I don't know if that factored into a quicker turnaround for me or not.

So there is hope!! Thanks.. I'll give the ASW login a try next week and see what happens. Good luck to everyone else in the waiting limbo since interviewing

In today via mail! I was actually accepted on 3/21 exactly one week after my group interview but just saw the mail this evening :) !!!

Hey congrats! I got my letter today too with the same date of 3/21 on it. ASW trick didn't work until 3/22 for anyone who is trying that.
