Are you an international student? If not, any indication why they sent yours via email?

SO means significant other in most contexts. assuming that CiscoDisco is referring to their boy/girlfriend/parter/spouse/fiance receiving an offer of admission via email, as usual.

Given the context, "scholarship offer" seemed equally plausible (but maybe I'm just antsy). Also, I'm not used to seeing people post on behalf of other people, but hey it's totally cool with me if that was the intention.

just went UR as well, submitted about 3 weeks ago. any idea on how long it takes to go from UR ----> decision?

edit: nevermind, looks like we also have to go UR2 before a decision.

It took me about a month and a half to go from ready to review to UR. Applied mid-december. Still sitting at UR1. Also I think a lot of people who applied around the time that I did have yet to hear back, so you may have to wait a little.

Just make sure that your skype settings allow anyone to call you and not just your friends.

Signed up for a scholarship interview, but it's so late in the game. Th earliest spot was mid-April, and by then we're supposed to be making decisions. Hmmm.........

2. Rolling based on date of interview. First interviewers' packets were sent out last Thursday

I did my interview maybe two weeks ago and still haven't gotten an offer but they say it's coming soon. As far as the interview it was super basic: Why Duke? Questions about resume. What is my financial situation? What do I want to do with a JD/LLM? It was very informal and basic like any general interview just with the financial elements.

My interview isn't scheduled until April 5...does Duke ever give out offers prior to the interview? I have other offers that I have to respond to by April 1 so receiving Duke offer mid-April is a big bummer

Yesssssssss. It was very annoying to see all of their unavailable spots. From the day they offered me admission to the day of my interview has a gap of over 7 weeks.
