The one time I visited, everyone was playing soccer, and soccer games were on in all the lobbies. It was not the World Cup, Euro Cup, or Champions. hth

Yeah I only have second hand reputation to go on as a local but not (yet) student, but the university as a whole has a reputation for being very liberal. But it's also in a state with a lot of extreme conservatism and crazy politics in general, so I'd take the reputation relatively.

As long as we're excluding rugby from "Euro garbage sports," I'm on board with this

Rugby, from my limited knowledge of it, is safe under my personal definition of garbage sports.

Soccer's cool, but American football is undoubtedly cooler. That said, I generally watch International stuff...I try to get into league games and it's not easy to maintain interest, since you have to stream games at weird times (due to them being on in other countries).

1) WUSTL doesn't really YP.
2) It is in kind of a weird place, where it is outside the T14 and to some extent trying to poach applicants from lower T14, a good number I imagine end up going to the T14 (or even Vandy, UT, or UCLA).
Those are my guesses at least.
Although matriculation rate is not something I would really worry about when trying to pick a school.
it makes sense.
haha, it seems to me that ALMOST every admit in this thread says in the affirmative that he would attend WUSTL
a big PS: to all the admits, what did u major in? heard that PoliSci/Philosophy/Sciences are in the majority
Fine Arts

Philosophy & Poli Sci. However 5 years of college ball has turned much of my head into meat. I think I heard they play intramural fball out in the quad.

Dallas is playing there next year (fav team :/)....I'd expect the Rams to win if I went.

I'm actually kind of glad the Rams are the local team, because they play the Niners every year and I've never actually gotten to see them live...

But, wouldn't Rams games be fairly cheap then?

Just as the Rams look to have a ray of hope? They had their moments this season.

Seriously. If they were in the NFC North or East, they might have made the playoffs last year.
