Maybe the prestigious undergrad and work experience theory about Columbia named scholarships is true?malleus discentium wrote:+1 Nor even being solidly above themscoobers wrote:I can assure everyone that being at the 75ths is not enough to get a butler, fyi.Softs are definitely a factor.

If I don't get a scholarship, this theory will make sense for me too. I was reading last year's Chicago thread and a lot of people reporting Rubys didn't get a Butler/Hamilton, so at least that is still a possibility for those of us above both 75ths!scoobers wrote:idk about MD, but this would make sense for me at least.HarvardHopeful wrote:Maybe the prestigious undergrad and work experience theory about Columbia named scholarships is true?malleus discentium wrote:+1 Nor even being solidly above themscoobers wrote:I can assure everyone that being at the 75ths is not enough to get a butler, fyi.Softs are definitely a factor.

Any Lord of the Rings fans out there? I was thinking we could decide which race each school would be - don't worry this is PC. Men, Elves, Dwarves, Wizards, Hobbits, Orcs, Ents, Giants, Goblins, etc.bbkk wrote:I'm here to congrat the new admits!!! (sorry a bit late)

Who isn't a LOTR fan? This is harder than Harry Potter houses though. Hmm...lawschool22 wrote:Any Lord of the Rings fans out there? I'm not religious, but this prayer/saying I was taught in my youth always seems appropriate at these times:
God (Allah, Buddha, Brahman, Science, whoever), grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The courage to change the things I can,
And wisdom to know the difference.

Weirdly, I've actually never seen LOTR, other than the first one that I fell asleep watching when it came out when I was like 13 years old.kershka wrote:Who isn't a LOTR fan? Me either. I've seen the Hobbit parts 1&2 and I liked them, so maybe I'll try LOTR one day.wtrc wrote:Weirdly, I've actually never seen LOTR, other than the first one that I fell asleep watching when it came out when I was like 13 years old.kershka wrote:Who isn't a LOTR fan?
