I would not put much into it. For all you know, it could a be a student helping out in the office who just wanted to get back to Farmville on Facebook.

The status checker says that a decision letter is sent. Does that mean I get rejected/WLed? Since I guess if I get accepted, there will surely be some emails from alumni, reminders of deposit form, etc?

Seeing as it's almost April, I won't be able to get tickets for ASW even if I do get in... I see how it is, Stanford. I see how it is.

Or at least us and MacB. I mean, we're on TLS on Easter. That's got to be good for something.

Yeeeeah, but someone also heard back on the 5th. I'll just keep myself distracted.

I want to email them and say that I'm willing to pay sticker + an extra $10,000 a year if they let me in.

Last year the last batch of acceptances was April 10th.

They trickle too, starting sometime, depending on the year, with no correlation to completion date, interlaced with rejections, on or about ...March 31.

The longer you survive, the higher your chances for an acceptance (they become more frequent as we edge towards the 10th) but survive too long and you've just set yourself up for a definite ding/WL.

Let the games begin.

Good observation sinfiery...I noticed the same pattern on past years' threads. Seems like the next 2 weeks are the window of opportunity for acceptances, and no news by mid-April becomes bad news.
