UCR on 1/12 and 1/31. What have been people's experiences with how long it takes to get a decision after you go under review for the second time?

Some of you guys are definitely being yield protected judging by your numbers and waiting time so far. They're probably waiting for you guys to withdraw since you most undoubtedly have already been accepted to HYS schools.

Love your rationale; now all I need is an acceptance from HLS or YLS, ha ha. Seriously though, best of luck everyone!smokeylarue wrote:Some of you guys are definitely being yield protected judging by your numbers and waiting time so far. Also - at this point does 1/12 & no second UCR = being passed over? What is a normal amount of time from 1st UCR to 2nd?

still at 1/12. i prefer to think that no news is good news. as far as i can tell, all it means is that they haven't made a decision on us yet. i mean, has anyone been dinged with only one UCR? it's like they're only going to take us to the dance if the prettier girls turn them down first, but they'll keep chatting us up in the cafeteria until then.

What's up with 173 LSAT scores on the 2007/2008 LSN graph? Anyone know why 173 looks like a magic score for Penn that year?

That makes three of us with 1/12 -> 1/31 with 3.9+/169. They have already accepted 2 people that I know of with our numbers, so hopefully there are more tomorrow!

Hmm...what about a 4+/167? Here's hoping that that's not pushing the reverse splitter envelope!jellybean8 wrote:I got in with 3.9+/168 so there's definitely hope for you guys!!bigeast03 wrote:Oh hey, didn't even realize that. Since it offers the opprtnity, I did. Sent a why penn/ future goals essay, and a 5th LORAdm.Doppleganger wrote:ringo wrote:I got a hold email on 1/18, and I believe one other person mentioned they did as well ITT.EMZE wrote:Still seeking others who received the hold e-mail on 1/27... doesn't seem like there are many (any) of us on here. Reading through last years stuff didnt show many either, though I remain optimistic because the ad hoc hold thread with all of the >10 people on it seemed to mostly get good results.
I just saw this but I got a hold letter on 1/18. I was assuming it was the same as a WL for a while (even though I realized others got WLs) but then they never updated to Decision Sent/Render or whatever like other WL-ers.
If any other held people see this, are you writing an addition two page essay on the topic of your choice? I am but it seems... broad.

Does anyone have a guess as to what is going on for those who went 1/12 --> 1/30?

You are not the first to tell me I make it worse when trying to help. Still, won't keep me from tryingStarLightSpectre wrote: If this was supposed to be comforting.. it failed! haha
So far, this cycle seems to have a somewhat similar pattern for 173s: http://penn.lawschoolnumbers.com/stats/1112/cogitoergosum wrote:What's up with 173 LSAT scores on the 2007/2008 LSN graph? Anyone know why 173 looks like a magic score for Penn that year?
