Hey guys... missed a call from Penn about an hour ago, but in via voicemail!

2nd UCR was 1/27 (still says that on my status checker). Good luck to those of you waiting!

.... And waitlisted. Third waitlist of the week, I'm on a quite a roll... Penn's was, however, the least compassionate waitlist invitation IMO.

this is probably obvious, but how do you know when you've gone into a second round of UCR? does it flash back to complete and then go back to UCR? or do you know because the status date changes?

It's because the status date changes. You only know if it changes if you check your status consistently. (Which I wouldn't advise; all that did was feed my neuroticism.)

So I looked up how far Penn was from the Phillies and Eagles stadiums...it says 11 minutes...is this true? My decision may be based upon my ability to see that rotation pitch

Id say more like 20 minutes depending on the traffic in the city, but yeah, its relatively close.

Good thing Drayton will sell the team at some point in the next year...my friend and I joked that Wainwright getting injured was the best offseason move for the Astros haha
