i'm really sorry!! that sucks :( i'm still waiting to hear back from UVA, them and Duke are my top choices and I haven't heard from either.

i really don't mean to rub it in or anything, but do you happen to know if they send WL decisions all together? maybe if so this could be a sign i'm either a ding/accept?

again, i'm really sorry :(

Waitlisted as well. UVA was a reach with my LSAT score anyway.

please tell me that SOMEONE out there is still waiting for a reply from UVA???

They say all decisions go out by a week from today, and I really thought I would have heard by now. :(

My numbers aren't the best but I'm over the GPA median, have really strong softs, and I'm in state... do you think I have a chance?

can't answer without your numbers. Most likely your softs don't matter. MOst likely youre going to get waitlistd.

judging by your rejection from georgetown and the fact that you're probably not over V's LSAT median or you would have said so, i can't imagine you'll get into UVa

Yeah, I'm above the 75 for gpa but below the median for LSAT. Strong very related to UVA softs though and a VA resident, so I'm hoping for a WL at least?

Haha as for gtown, there's a really specific reason I was rejected so that's actually not a factor one way or the other.

Penn. Still have Berkeley left but I don't think I can make it work.

Glad you finally figured it out. Philly is certainly fitting for you, and I'm sure that they gave you a solid deal to turn down UVA. :D

P.S. At least Cal made it easy on you with their recent drop.

Yes it turned out to be better than UVA's offer when compared with all other variables. Very happy with how things worked out. Also relieved to not have admissions to think about, although I must admit I feel a little empty right now not pursuing something so intensely.

I am still working and going to school, but sadly (haha) that school + work is not as intense as applying to law schools and thinking about what school to choose.

r6philly-
You've been a class act this entire process. Wow! Enjoy your extra "mental intensity space" for now, and enjoy that ADORABLE kid! Take LOTS of pictures. Penn and Berkeley are both great choices and I have been delighted to read your process unfold. If you do go to Penn, at least you won't have to relocate right?
SUPER CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU Now and in the future!

Thanks! I am a troll here and there, now and then

Yes staying at home would be much easier, much cheaper, so that factors a bit into my decision making process. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience with U.Va., it just didn't end up the best option for me.

I wish the best for you and everyone here, best of luck in whatever you choose to pursue!

Nice meeting you at ASD r6. We should still go celebrate in AC though now that you made your decision.
