LSN is so unhelpful sometimes. For people with #s similar to mine (168/4.0) who went complete last year around the same time I did this year, I could get a decision as early as next week, or as late as March. FFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUU

Michigan is probably my top choice from my realistic schools, too (except for my hail mary apps to NYU and Chicago) so I really want to hear back so I can schedule a visit. Somebody tell me that it will all be okay.

It will all be f'ing fabulous. (or okay, if you needed specifically those words.)

Hey you never know! My top choice is Michigan, but with similar numbers to yours I got into NYU and waitlisted at Chicago and have yet to hear from my beloved Mich. There's hope! A lot of these decisions don't make sense.

i think it just went to 'Decision' yesterday or today..

Sorry dude, probably rejected. I think most people who get in can access the admitted students page for several days before their status checker changes.

Hmmm, to the people who got increasing scholarships:

It may have been because we were summer starters. I got an email from them saying that it would be increased for the summer start. They said by 1/3 but, based on mine, it looked like it increased by 1/2 (1/3 after the increase is probably what the meant since that would make sense).

Nope, I never got a hold e-mail. But from my understanding, wasn't it some sort of YP thing?

I didn't get the e-mail, but I still think that it is legimately just an apology for taking so long and nothing else.

I applied the day the app opened, and my checker went complete around 10/26, but I heard the later you apply the longer it takes to get your checker and then for it to go complete. For the record, it still says no decision was made.

Thanks! I submitted on 11/16 and it went complete on 12/16. Didn't get that infamous email so I don't know what it is.

I was excited to get a pack of info about life in Ann Arbor along with a nice little Michigan usb. My favorite is Dean Z's handwritten note that she "loved" my personal statement and optional essay. So glad that I struggled with them over months!
