Admittedly, there’s some randomness to how quickly your interview gets schedule so I wouldn’t read too much into the timing. Hope this helps."

Sadly that doesn't provide much reassurance for those of us who haven't gotten a JR1 and have been complete for a long time. I'm not sure how long it could possibly take for an app to get to JR, but I imagine it can't be thaat long if he's getting to other apps right away.
this just tells me that my application was not compelling. thanks, JR!

This isn't really true. He covers that base by saying it might just not be to him yet. Oh and they are closed from Dec 25 - Jan 3... Fun

Yeah, I searched on that page but I don't see the blog entry with that quote. I wanted to see if it was part of a larger post...oh well.

To the two people who are like me and have ~179 and ~3.77, I always feel really good about my chances when I look at Harvard's quartiles on the rankings list on the main page. My GPA is above their 25th and my LSAT is above their 75th. So if you get nervous or glum maybe looking at that list will help.

Ah, thanks. That second answer was helpful. But also doesn't help my thinking that I messed up on the interview. Alright, back to grading papers...

Congrats... glad to see something is actually happening. This thread was pretty quiet for a couple days there.

Thanks!
Ummm...I'd do what you can to make sure you don't miss that call. If you have to, take a 1/2 day off work.

Agreed. I work full time. If I ever get a JR1 (please, JR?), I plan to block off the hour during which the phone call would occur. And if the assigned interview hour interferes with a previously scheduled meeting or if it's going to be during a particularly busy day, I would ask for a different time.

JR1 email this morning! Submitted ~thanksgiving, UR 12/16 although I'm gathering that the "UR" status is not always updated on time.

I also got the JR1 email today! I'm so excited/nervous.

Submitted: 11/30
Complete: 12/11

For those wondering about rescheduling, I had to reschedule mine, and they were really nice and quick about it so I wouldn't worry. (I hope pushing the interview back doesn't hurt my chances though!)

If it was the kind of school that did hurt your chances for rescheduling an interview, would you really want to go there? Even HLS isn't that uptight/irrational.

Seriously, though, congratulations on the JR1. Don't be too nervous--I promise it's easy.

Pleasantly surprised by a JR1 email today... My stats are 168/4.1x, international applicant. Hopefully this gives some hope to people with lower LSATs. I think I have good softs, but not the super-amazing ones people here always talk about. Exciting to say the least :)

Received 11/25, still no complete email.

Thanks! I'm sure you'll be leaving the club shortly after the holidays-- a URM batch has to go out at some point and your numbers are HLS quality.
