Below both LSAT/GPA 25%'s / Non-URM and was able to get a username pw sent my way via email. Login don't work yet but past experience seems to say give it a few days. I hope this bodes well for me, though I bet the lag due to holidays will serve only to augment stress

Well, despite "low" numbers, I have been riding this cycle on softs, especially as a non-URM, so while GULC would be an amazing school to attend and all, that they are jesuit, I do 10+ hours of catholic related community service a month, and have 5 years in the military and have deployed to Afghanistan makes me think the committee might see us a good fit.franklyscarlet wrote:I'm so scared Georgetown is just punking us.

Makes sense. My numbers make me nervous, but my softs are the important kind. Here's to both of us logging in soon!EMZE wrote:Well, despite "low" numbers, I have been riding this cycle on softs, especially as a non-URM, so while GULC would be an amazing school to attend and all, that they are jesuit, I do 10+ hours of catholic related community service a month, and have 5 years in the military and have deployed to Afghanistan makes me think the committee might see us a good fit.franklyscarlet wrote:I'm so scared Georgetown is just punking us.

just logged in to ASW!!! scarlet + anyone else with 12/20 last complete date, consider this the bat signal you've been waiting for.
those of you with later complete dates and were able to generate logins, you ARE admitted and WILL be able to login very soon
this is the first definitive answer from a law school i've gotten this cycle, thank god it was an acceptance! finally can enjoy a (reduced stress) xmas season! HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE!!

On the other hand, their office is currently closed. Maybe it's automated.

Meh, not tooooo worried as I consider it a fairly positive sign. I'm too busy worried about the other 15 responses I am waiting for and the looming GMAT. Fortunately that's a much more forgiving test on retakes, so I can always chalk it up to a pratice run.cactuarX3 wrote:I think it might be automated, wouldn't worry about itEMZE wrote:I am also @ 12/22, but fear that the 2 work days to give access won't come til 2012...cactuarX3 wrote:2 more days scarlet, but don't worry, you can start celebrating nowfranklyscarlet wrote:No dice here. Backup plan more than anything 5+ yrs work experience makes it a much eaiser segway. Though I would not pursue it actively outside of M5cactuarX3 wrote:JD/MBA?

Very nice! I'm also considering the JD/MBA route (worked 3+ years in management consulting), but not sure yet about the pros/cons. Can you still apply to the b-school at the end of 1L?EMZE wrote:Backup plan more than anything 5+ yrs work experience makes it a much eaiser segway. So I've been told.. Don't know for positive. Downside is I want to do law, not business, so b school would be my attempt to back door an M5 schools (minus MIT obv) for their law school.

does anyone know the likelihood of receiving decisions before the new year? lsn shows people receiving decisions, but don't know how accurate that is?

Quick question: (I'm able to log onto ASW) I applied FT/PT but my status checker says "Program: Full Time". Does that mean I was accepted FT or is that just what they put in that box ?
TO THE PEOPLE THAT APPLIED FT/PT: on your status checker, does your program say "Full Time" or "FT/PT"? Thanks!!

In the mail, I received a greeting card that says Georgetown "looks forward to welcoming me to the community." My status still says application complete, and I'm not under review. Can this be a good sign? What's the link to ASW? Current status date is 12/19 by the way.

New question: How do you guess the initial username/password? Should I just relax and wait? Not following what's going on, exactly.georgeconstanza wrote:In the mail, I received a greeting card that says Georgetown "looks forward to welcoming me to the community."
