I had a big jump from 11/12 to 12/6 . Is there a consensus on what this may mean?

11/18 to 12/6 here. Too scared to try the admitted students site.

Most in this thread were same day. I think you're still in the running, under review. You would have gotten an email by now.

i am SO incredibly happy! after my uva rejection i wasnt sure i'd be able to break into T14...plus i visited georgetown and really loved it, dc seems like so much fun

Unfortunately, I got nada in the way of money two cycles ago and I'm expecting the same. Which means DC may not be where this fabolous one ends up

What are the odds that we are the only group that has a glitch, when things have gone the same way for 103 pages of applicants?

Oh my God, I am in the process of typing my email address and last name at the admitted students site, but I can't hit send. This is only my 3rd update. What if they want to review my application one more time? What if they decide I'm too crazy for checking so soon and reject me.

People have checked way more times than you, I'm sure. I checked once after my 11/18 update and was deathly afraid to try again until today. My second time and I got the email. Give yourself some credit....

jesus christ i check like 3 times a day. this is silly. nobody would ever reject you from their school because you are so anxious to find out if you got in there. i would think that would show some hyper-dedication at the least. besides, i highly doubt they are even know, it's probably all computer-automated or run by IT people. geez...

i wrote "got into the AS site" a bit prematurely. they sent me a username and a password -- something that had never happened any of the previous times i tried to log in). the only thing is the UN and PW they sent me don't work...yet

This happened to me before I got in too (last update 11/22, letter arrived over Thanksgiving weekend) ...congrats I bet you're good!

Same. This has been true for most admits thus far. You either can or can't get a username and password. It may not work just yet, but if you get one, you're good.

No. But I'm pretty sure that we won't be the first batch to get the email without getting in. Im stoked! This was my first, and is likely to be my only acceptance! I wonder if I would have gotten in anyway without the ED switch, but I don't really care.

This is typical, so far everybody this has happened to has been admitted!
