I just received an email basically saying the same thing my note said a month ago and saying the Admitted Students Site will be up on December 21

Ok. Good point.beckstar wrote: what kinda party do you go to where people wear pants?
I want to summon up enough courage to go pantless to: 1) a sitdown restaurant, 2) the planetarium, and 3) the Museum of Science and Industry.

If they are painfully stringing us along for 3 days just to send out a rejection email, I am going to be royally pissed.

DR on 12/1, no mail in DC. Not sure if this means WL/rejection or that they didn't mail on 12/1...no sense in speculating endlessly (though I have a feeling it will continue...)

Re: Georgetown 2013/ (2014)
I love how I am currently sitting here, pants on, waiting to go back down to the mail room in an hour or two, but with this bitter feeling of, "omg. i guess i'll leave these on, cause in an hour i won't have the will to put them back on if i take em off now..." f.m.l.
EDIT: Sorry to hear no mail from GULC. But come on! It's been only two days. Mail can take up to 5 and local mail can take just as long!

And it's the holidays as well so the mail is flooded with catalogues and christmas / festivus cards. it can really slow things down. at least that's what my mailman, Newman, told me.Hopefullawstudent wrote:I love how I am currently sitting here, pants on, waiting to go back down to the mail room in an hour or two, but with this bitter feeling of, "omg. i guess i'll leave these on, cause in an hour i won't have the will to put them back on if i take em off now..." f.m.l.

Re: Georgetown 2013/ (2014)
Since the DR didn't come until after 4pm on 12/1 I'm betting they didn't put the letters in the mail until that point or even the following morning - which means that the mail carriers didn't pick them up until 12/2 (which is an optimistic outlook in that it's assuming that they put the letters out in the mail on 12/2 prior to pick up, instead of, say, in the afternoon because the admissions office was busy in the morning and then had an extended lunch or something).
So, best case scenario is that the letters weren't picked up until yesterday and there's at least a two day turn around for simple letters going through the USPS - though it usually ends up being three at the quickest.
tl;dr: Prediction: DC residents might see something tomorrow, all of us other folks will see something on Monday.
...Unless if there are emails involved. In which case: All bets are off.

I know a lot of PT applicants have been Complete for a long time. I just went under review after being complete 11/6. Anyone else? This is my reach program.
