Are they still calling people? I would like to know if I go into DR if they are still doing that or not. How quickly did people lately find out their were accepted/rejected? Same day?

No idea..I would assume they are still calling people...but who knows.

I had a few EA friends who got a call a day or two after they went DR telling them that they were accepted so I don't know.. anxiety...

I am 161 3.4
153, 3.5, ft/pt. Really good softs - uncle was the chair of the acct program at smu in the 70s. And I'm a tripple legacy. And IMHO I wrote some very good statements, both personal and why smu.

I know my numbers are low (mainly LSAT) so I conclude that my softs have kept me alive thus far. Now whether they lead to an acceptance is the 1 million dollar question.

Do you think they are not going to make a decisions on my application before friday since I went complete after their deadline? All my stuff was in on time...

2/3. No I think you will get a decision because they said something in their e-mail that if you have everything in on time you were considered regular decision sometime late Feb...they said something like that, can't remember exactly though.

Just read on the web-site that 2/15 was the deadline... I thought it may have been 3/1

2/16 was still before their deadline I thought -- someone can correct me if I am wrong but I believe 3/1 was their priority deadline

2/15 was the deadline.

You don't have to be complete by 2/15, though. You just have to have your materials submitted.

For regular decision, applications had to be postmarked by 2/15, and all supporting documentation was supposed to be received by 2/28.

Sorry I really am this bored at my work study but figured I would just add this,

"Thank you for your recent application to SMU Dedman School of Law. Since you have applied for the regular decision deadline, provided your file is complete by February 28, 2010, a decision will be mailed no later than April 30, 2010."

I went complete on 2/22 so I am hoping that I will hear by Friday

For all those freaking out, it seems they just sent out a buttload decisions. So if you weren't WL'ed, I wouldn't count yourself out for the count yet.

Just went DR on 4/29. My program didn't change to anything though as I applied FT/PT.

I interpret this to mean that I was either rejected or waitlisted.

Most likely rejected though as those who were waitlisted had that depicted on their status.
