Oh god. Now I'm flipping out and I had work to do. 2/4 UR. Does this mean decision is definitely coming tomorrow or Monday?

So what happens if you get WLed is that you will eventually change to UR 2/5 tomorrow. Your status checker will say that for a very short time and then will change to "Waitlisted: Notified by Email" with 2/5 as the date underneath and a note under Mailings saying "Waitlist Letter Emailed."

You will, however, get the WL email while all these things happen.

2/4 is definitely a batch of admits. They're due, they said they plan on more calls this week, and everyone who has posted stats looks good for acceptance. My $.02

I wish! I think it has to be a mixed batch. I'm UR 2/4 (previously 2/1 and, I think, 1/18... the first was definitely sometime in January). Anyway, while I would LOVE Chicago, my 168, 3.45 is AT BEST waitlist, and probably rejection. But I knew that when I applied.

I'm not a big fan of the "early next week" part. I wish they'd just get them over with tomorrow, whatever the decision may be. I wonder if they'll continue the pattern of acceptance batch->rejection batch->waitlist batch...

I agree! Waitlists and rejections go all at once by e-mail, right? So does that mean acceptances might spill over till next week because they might not have time to call everyone tomorrow?

Well, Chicago's a reach for me, and while of course I hope for an acceptance, I'll be relieved to get a decision whatever it is. All the uncertainty is exhausting!

Yes, everyone gets a call, though not necessarily from Dean Perry.

Berkeley may or may not call. UCLA usually calls. So does Penn. HLS always calls. Texas often calls. So does BU.
