I'm sure this info is somewhere on the admitted students website, but does NYU do any sort of stipend for ASD's?

I know they have in the past but I can't find any information on it. I called a few weeks ago and the woman seemed a little unsure but that they did under some circumstances and told me we'd be hearing more about it the following week. All I got after that was an email giving the dates of the ASDs--nothing about a stipend.

Does anyone know if the scholarship programs that traditionally hold their finalist interviews the same weekend as RTK follow the same schedule--in other words, should we start hoping for the finalist phone calls now as well, since it seems RTK has started? Or would they start later, since there are less applicants and less awardees, meaning they have less phone calls to get through? (AnBryce, IILJ, Latinx Rights peeps--join me in my frantic speculation, won't you?)

A member of the Latinx Rights committee told me today that they'll be making the majority of their calls in the first week of March. Unsure about the others, sorry.

Completed my app in Jan 17th, and just found out that the under review date was 6th, Feb,

Question:
(1) Is this the UR2? Is the speed of date change a good or bad sign?
(2) If it is, what to expect? Does it mean that i could get a decision soon, or still a long wait ahead?

Would appreciate if someone could answer my question, kind of in a anxious and confused mood

Could be UR1, could be UR2. No one knows how long you'll have to wait, but what we do know is that all of their waves have happened on Tuesdays. So maybe next Tuesday is your day. If not, maybe the next. That's the best I can do for you, unless someone can gather more from this.

1. If you didn't check before February 6, there's no way to tell how many date changes have occurred. (UR/UR2/UR3). Most people do tend to go UR1 a few days after application completion.

2. It could be either one. There are people who have had quick turnaround times and people who have been waiting for months. We don't really have any way of knowing.

As i remember, the app of NYU changed into under review soon. I think i saw the date was 1/17/2017 before. I did not know it could be multiple under review until i noticed there was something different of the review date.
But according to you , there was a UR3!!!! I think i saw somewhere in a post of "What to expect", mentioned only 2 UR.

Based on last year's thread it looks like around this time all the dings came on Wednesday so I'd say there's no need to freak out just yet.

Which is obvi easier said than done. Last Tuesday I was so anxious about hearing back that I dreamt someone on the adcom posted my application to Reddit to laugh at me.

I completed my app a couple days before you, went UR1 a day or two later, and went UR2 2/3. I suspect that your app is just a couple days behind mine, and you're in UR2, but there's no way to tell for sure.

The NYU Law website says that the campus will be closed tomorrow due to the snow forecasted. "The University administrative offices are closed and non-essential personnel are not to report to New York City campuses."

Looks like we will have to wait until Friday for any news
