On another note, completely 100% serious, I put a West Wing quote in my personal statement (I swear it was relevant). It could be a bit polarizing, half the people probably went and the other half . I have a friend that had an admissions interview and he brought up West Wing, they had a 10 minute convo about WW and he got admitted at the end.

So based on the comparison between the % changes for each score and those for each score band, it looks like this set of % changes was calculated as (Current#-Previous#)/Previous# ... which is correct.

But idk how to explain results like the # of 180s dropping from 22 to 15

Every year there are a few weird percentage results, and every years LSAC has an explanation for them fyi (different dates compared, different metric, etc). So *likely* they aren't as weird as they seem

There are a number of other drops: 169 (507 to 323!), 171, 174, 176

Will be interested to see if an explanation is offered.

Anecdotal evidence here, but everyone I know who applied to law school this year worked in politics/did campaign work this election cycle, leaving significantly less time to study since they were all working 15 hour days. However, they wanted to take in December so they could apply this cycle and obviously didn't think ahead enough to take before they started on campaigns a year ago.

Wonder if this happened on a widespread scale since many people who go to law school also have an interest in politics (more anecdotal evidence tbh, though)? Just a theory.
