Just scheduled my alumni interview - meeting tomorrow. For those that have had them, are there any regular questions beyond the expected (Why law? Why GULC?) I should be on the look out for?

I think it's going to depend entirely on the interviewer. Based on other reports in this thread, the alumni interviews can vary wildly from one interviewer to the next. Mine lasted about 10 minutes, maybe less. Some people spent more than an hour in their interview.alvmew wrote:Just scheduled my alumni interview - meeting tomorrow. Mine asked me a few questions about my resume. She asked me "what is the most difficult part of your job?" Then "Why Georgetown?" And I think that was it.

Has anyone applied to both programs (Full and Part-Time) and heard back? Do they send notification about the decision for each program separately?

Is anyone else's status checker essentially blank? My personal info is on there but no dates or notes. Not even my complete date. I sent around early Feb.

Just got an email that I received zero merit aid from Georgetown. I responded to the name your price email by basically saying, "I got a Ruby. Good luck matching it." Apparently that was a bit too bold. I withdrew immediately. Best of luck to everyone else!

Welp. Not looking forward to the response I get. I hope they get me my response pre-ASW though.WinterComing wrote:Just got an email that I received zero merit aid from Georgetown. Re: Georgetown C/O 2019 Applicants (2015-2016)
Agh, preferred waitlisted!! I'm kinda mad, since I got into Berkeley which is supposed to be a lot more competitive, and both my GPA and LSAT are above Georgetown's 75th percentile (I admit I was kind of thinking it was a given I'd get in, which is certainly not the right attitude when it comes to these things haha). I basically responded to their email saying I would love to still be considered if spaces open up, Georgetown remains one of my top choices, etc, and then also I was like "Yeah, and please hurry because I'm going to send my initial enrollment intent to Berkeley otherwise, so..."
So darn. I really have this fascination with DC and this amount of certainty about Georgetown and there was a good chance I may have picked it over Berkeley (especially if Georgetown offered more $$$), but I guess I'm probably going to Berkeley
Unless Harvard pulls through for me... ha... ha...

I got told that I'm now in an "alternate" pool of people being considered for merit aid?
Did anyone else get this?

Dinged today via e-mail. Kinda bummed about that as I thought my numbers gave me a decent chance of getting in or at LEAST a spot on the waitlist. Oh well. Good luck to everyone still waiting.

What's the chance of getting off the "waiting list"? As there is "priority waiting list', can I see the chance merely as very little?

My status date is blank, as well. Did you ever have a date there? I'm being paranoid now and cannot remember if any info has ever shown up...rachellewrx wrote:My current status date is blank too.magnum_law wrote:Is anyone else's status checker essentially blank? Georgetown's status checker is essentially useless. It will only list your personal information at the top; however, it will not update beyond "Application Completed" and won't list any dates.hayleylaurel wrote:My status date is blank, as well.
