Just wondering what people feel with regards to more acceptances going out from now until mid-late April. Did NYU make all of its offers and they are now waiting back for people to withdraw based on other offers, better scholarships, etc? Or, should we expect more to trickle in as days go on.

Have any EDers who were deferred to RD received rejections and or WLs yet?

Also interested. I got mine today and it's generous but not even half of the estimated COA...

Pleasantly surprised with a Dean's Award Scholarship today. Anyone have any idea as to whether they offer denominations between half- and full-tuition scholarships? As far as I know, Columbia, for instance, offers nothing in between full- and half-rides.

Just got my Dean's Scholarship notification. Applied the first week of October. Accepted the first week of December. I've also been accepted to Columbia, no scholarship offer yet, and have scholarship offers from Michigan, Vandy and Wash U. that are more generous than NYU's offer. Should I wait to see what Columbia gives me before I start to negotiate, or do you think I should start now with what I have? Also, I know it's a different school, but does anyone know when to expect scholarship info from Columbia?

I submitted mid-Dec and was admitted early Jan, and was dinged from RTK, but haven't heard from them yet as to whether I'm getting any $$$. Not sure if I should start negotiating now or wait some more to see if I get any $$$ at all.
I've heard from people who applied for named scholarships but didn't receive them that they got an email saying they would be receiving fin aid info within 15 days after notification.

Anyone have any idea when the final dings should be coming in for RTK or other named scholarships? I applied before people who've gotten both dings and interview offers, and I'm just wondering how long I should expect to be in limbo, given that interviews are not far away.

Forgive me if this has already been asked, but when do waitlists normally come out?

Based on admitted students spreadsheet, does anyone else predict a 170 lsat median?

The median TLS applicant to NYU had a 171 last year despite the actual median slipping down to a 169. Even amongst T14 applicants, TLS tends to draw high scorers, so I wouldn't read too much into it.

True, but not a single non-URM applicant has gotten in with a 169 AND less than median GPA. Out of around 200 applicants there should be at least one splitter. That's my boat anyway, still holding out hope.

I've been UR1 for almost SIX MONTHS!! I got the "we didn't forget you" letter last month, but I'm having real trouble remaining patient at this point. I'm trying to plan my life here.
