Haha solid Chicago reference. Every time I see one of their ads it makes me think of Brazzers, which is not terribly appetizing.Guyver wrote:Well you're ex is here (see his previous reply), accept his date reunion. Have held applicants seriously not been given a decision yet?

two in this thread were admitted last week. no one else has heard anything; i was told that i would hear last week at the latest. of course, we already know NU moves the goalposts pretty regularly.
NU was my first choice, GPA at its median and LSAT well above its 75th. submitted way back in October. sent in LOCI and hold essays, requested interviews, etc. often emails to the admissions office have gone ignored. absolutely no clue what the hold-up is (pun), but it's absurd that i'm coming up on 8 months without a decision.

You guys at least have decent chances. Tbh my LSAT is below the median so it's very unlikely for me.

Curious because: like 80% certain I'm going to Michigan at this point.
yeah pretty much. Michigan gave me a fat scholly and i like their midwest/non-NYC placement strength. decided to deposit there over UVA and Columbia for those reasons.
but if NU had come through with scholarship money (looking really unlikely now, aint it), it would've probably won. Chicago is where i wanna be
edit: what drew you to Michigan

that's great, congrats on your success. i felt the same way about Michigan's adcomms by the waytheramblingfool wrote:I'm in the same boat. Michigan is a great school, though, and I'll be excited/honored to attend. That probably sounds cliche, but really. I'm not just a first generation college student, but a first generation high school graduate. I never thought I'd get a college degree, much less attend a top-tier law school. I keep surprising myself!

On the WL-
Received the continuing interest email yesterday about whether I'm "in a position to seriously consider an offer of admission from Northwestern Law".
Said yes, awaiting their response
