Re: USC c/o 2016 Applicants
Doesn't appear to be a lot of happy I'm attending posts, at least for those with scholarships. Hopefully this bodes well for waitlisters...

CR1 straight to FR on 4/10, so I figured I'd get a ding soon... but I`m still in FR 8 days later without a Decision Rendered. Anyone else?

I like to think I was in the auto-ding pile, but that 1 lone AdCom member is championing my application to the end.cbarlow1016 wrote:In FR since 4/11. Anyone have the full schedule for Law Day? I think I might have seen it at some point, but now I can't find it. Thanks.

I think it was in the registration.... Maybe go back through and "register" but don't complete it and just look at the schedule (and post it hereKingFish wrote:Anyone have the full schedule for Law Day? I think I might have seen it at some point, but now I can't find it. Thanks.

Still in Committee 1 review. Is it safe for me to assume that at this point I'm most likely waitlisted or dinged?

Decision finalized just now. Went CR1 a couple of weeks ago, FR three days ago, now this. Anyone have any predictions? Anyone had a similar timeline that got in? My numbers are way light, but I'm hopeful. Probably a ding. Oh, let this be over!

If we all get dings maybe it's a good thing you are still FR...cbarlow1016 wrote:blah still in FR
Hmmm, this isn't reassuring for me. Lol.

FR 4/15 DF 4/18...
No email...Ding...
If it was waitlist, the status would go straight to waitlist instead of DF right?

Not sure. Are you WLd and does the status say that on your checker?redmessengerbag wrote:FR 4/15 DF 4/18...

I have read through pages of this thread trying to identify a pattern between notification methods and decision and I can't identify a correlation. It seems they've notified some people by snail mail only for admit and WL, some by email and snail for admit and WL, and denies only by snail.
I've also tried to identify batches, but I think it is more likely the committee makes decisions or suggestions and then fires a batch at the Dean or Assistant Dean of admissions to OK or sign off on.
Around the range I'm at there also doesn't seem to be a strong correlation between admit/deny/WL and numbers, that is if they consider me a URM due to being an immigrant (albeit a white one) or consider significant WE. Oh boy. Probably I'll just be a ding.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
