Um pretty sure tied schools are listed alphabetically...
I actually thought it was standardized hours of sunshine as the tie-breaker instead. Got any proof it isn't?

Interesting email about the Phoenix Law Fellowship. Seems like a lot of work for $9000/yr.

+1
I briefly read on the e-mail that I had to submit
10 copies of something, and I was pretty dissuaded.

Did they send the email to everyone? I don't identify as a person of color but I still got it, so I'm trying to figure that one out...

Yeah, got that as well, but I'm not a student of color (Middle Eastern descent) so I'm just confused..

I’m not a minority. Maybe showing an interest in PI work?
Edit: didn’t even read the email all the way through to see that part about “lawyers of color.” Hmm. Not sure why we got it.

It pretty clearly says students of color.
I guess they just sent it out to everyone. I got excited and thought it was FA offers...

Me too. When does that happen? ASW is so soon.

Or, did people reply yes with interest to some scholarships for diversity applicants on the scholarship interest form? That's my new theory for now...

Supposed to be late March/early April...so we're coming down to it. I really want to know if Berkeley is actually a viable option..

I called in to make sure that I had everything in, they said at ASW. Has anyone heard on matching scholarships? I've had silence since I submitted.

My financial aid updated sometime in the last 3 days with a vague "Gift Aid" amount. Submitted matching scholly form a few weeks ago. I think they took the form into account but since I never received an email, I can't be sure. It's about 10K/yr less than my other t14 offers...but Berkeley is a public school, so who knows.

On that same note, do they ever tell you if they've considered your matching scholarship submission? My BearFacts updated to show an award letter ($0- thanks berkeley!), but I can't tell if that is independent or means I'm out of luck on the matching front. Any ideas?

Hm, apparently I also got nothing. But the subject of the email said "Loan Offers Available"... any chance that could mean a grant offer is yet to come? I submitted my fin aid app way late, but I definitely qualify as (somewhat) needy

Yeah, I don't think that merit scholarships have gone out yet (though some people have reported need-based grants).
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
