Sorry man. Those seem like good numbers for WUSTL. They must be trying to up their LSAT median. If you weren't gonna go then no harm, I guess. My odds of attending are only slightly higher absent scholarship money.SrLaw wrote:Just rejected with a 3.44 and a 167? I really do not care but I am highly confused as to how I did not at least get a WL? I can honestly say that my odds of attending were .02% anyway.

I dunno man, I've seen people of the same racial status with the same numbers applying at the same time get different decisions at a lot of places, including here. Maybe they actually read the applications. Of course, they can't admit everyone so maybe they just draw names out of a hatlaw4vus wrote:WUSTL is just stringing me along. They sent me a fee waiver so it was all good. I would have liked to attend but once I saw the 168 line I knew that my chances of $$$ were slim. WUSTL tuition is absurdly high.ArthurDigbySellers wrote:Sorry man. Those seem like good numbers for WUSTL. They must be trying to up their LSAT median. If you weren't gonna go then no harm, I guess. They have a ton of money to toss around, but there's the 168 wall of doom...I'm happy without it and probably won't get $$$ if I'm lucky enough to sneak in, but it would be nice to chill with romoSrLaw wrote:They sent me a fee waiver so it was all good. Re: WUSTL 2011 Cycle
Hello all,
First post here. Just got dinged today with a 164/3.64 LSDAS/3.63 institutional (No URM here, either, just a white, middle-class male). I knew it was a stretch going in, especially after my own alma mater (UIllinois) flat out rejected me pretty quickly back in December, but it was my #1 choice. Oh well, can't win 'em all.
Congrats to all who got/get in, its a beautiful campus in a very nice area (I love Forest Park).

Check your junk mail folder or an alternate email address. Could be there. If not, try calling them to see whats up. They probably won't tell you the decision, but could tell you why you havent found out.anniebelle330 wrote:Weird, still no email, but still at Decision Made 3/25. ?

All these dings, I almost feel guilty that my clearly subpar numbers still have me at IR 3/3.

12 dings on LSN so far. I'm guessing tomorrow will be the mass WL.

Re: WUSTL 2011 Cycle
aside from my absolute shock at not yet being dinged (please god say I didn't just jinx it), does anyone actually get in at this point without getting wl'd first? Or is it going to be a definite wl ----> acceptance/rejection assuming I don't get flat out denied later this week?

This is pretty surprising. I guess all the 3.8+/160+s get their turn now?

Ding.
Was waitlisted last year, so I'm kinda bummed I let myself get my hopes up... though Dean Clifford did tell me last year when we talked about me reapplying that they were planning on admitting fewer students this year because of too many 1Ls this current year.
Bye bye WUSTL.

Yes. But the day after that day, there will be one acceptance. It will probably be that girl who has the "decision made" under status checker.Flips88 wrote:12 dings on LSN so far. I'm guessing tomorrow will be the mass WL.

Re: WUSTL 2011 Cycle
I don't understand how people with 167s and decent GPAs are getting rejected. I haven't gotten a decision yet, but I'm no where near those numbers so this does not bode well for me. I'm still in my second review 3/14.

+1 to the Illinois rejection.. I definitely expected at least a waitlist because I was an iLeap finalist last year. We have similar choices in schools; which ones are you seriously considering? I haven't gotten my rejection email from WashU, but I feel it's coming soon..thestig wrote:Hello all,

Re: WUSTL 2011 Cycle
Did anyone get the line in their acceptance email that the scholarship committee is considering you for a Scholar in Law award and ultimately not receive one?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
