Ohhhhh so we have to APPLY for the scholarships. That's ok.

Just finished the app. I agree b-roman, very easy app.

Weeee!!! In via email today! Since I was WLed at schools I thought I had a good shot at (U of I) and ignored at others (yes, I'm talking to you, Wash U

), getting into USC just made my week!!!!

Similar stats to you, but with a more extreme split. Same IR date (iirc) and my other best offer atm is the same as yours.

Weird. Also 1/26. Extreme splitter (170, 2.7). Best offer so far is UIUC w/ 120k (which is a pretty sweet offer if I wasn't so inclined to stay in LA).

Looks very much like the 1/26 group is all URMs. They are gonna have us battle it out for spots, or just admit us all to boost diversity. We'll see.

My numbers are quite close to yours (closer to yours than the poster I quoted). 105k at GW/WUSTL is what I have atm. While I would love to stay in CA I wouldn't be opposed to DC. I honestly think that 100k+ to GW/WUSTL/Illinois is a better deal financially than USC at sticker, however I would really like to stay in CA and I think that desire would have me taking the much larger risk at USC.

Makes sense and it seems like we're all URMs. Are we all splitters as well?

Well I guess that settles that.

It feels kind of weird knowing that they separate the applicant pool like that, but I guess it makes sense.

1/26 was my second date until 2/22, URM also. Perhaps they looked at me again and said meh and tossed me back in the pot.
