Apparently the financial aid office makes the admissions decisions look like Usain Bolt. I'm not looking for any info before late summer.

When you say "financial aid", do you mean hearing back about your awards and confirmation of FAFSA receipt and such?

Yeah, that won't happen until late summer.

After seat deposits are paid, how long does it take before I get automatically enrolled in classes, a bill, or anything else that I could use as documentation for the following:
Payment of college tuition and related educational costs such as room and board for the next 12 months for you, your spouse, dependents, or children who are no longer dependents.

I walked in to financial aid last week and asked about the FAFSA release and aid packages. I was told the financial aid would be released 1 Jun. However, I defer to Kalvano's knowledge of when it will actually happen.
I found a nice house about 1 mile south of campus BTW. Places come and go very quickly around campus. Those looking to secure a home close to campus should start early.

It could be June 1, I just seem to remember it being a lot later last year.

That sucks, man. I was told they expect to add several more before August, too. I guess that's a good sign for the economy.

No worries. I got a job nonetheless. I'm glad the employment situation is looking better for the classes below me.

For those of us who are waitlisted, in the letter did it say we had to respond to stay on the waitlist? I can't find my letter and I'm freaking out that we might have had to express our intent to stay on the waitlist by a certain day.

I'm almost positive it said only to respond if you DON'T want to stay on the waitlist. I reread it a couple times to make sure, but when I get home I will check again and let you know if it's the other way around.
