This is looking like a particularly tough year to get into Fordham. Been complete since 12/1... starting to think the best I can hope for is to wait a couple more weeks, then get waitlisted...

For those of you who are in and planning on moving to NYC: Congrats! It really is an amazing city and I will certainly miss it next year (unless something unexpected happens...). And when life gives you roaches... well, buy some roach traps. They really are pretty effective.

does anyone know-- if a FT person gets WL and they then ask to be considered for PT, do they reconsider fairly soon after or not until april or may?

I got a PM from a fellow december rejection who also reapplied for PT...she said that fordham told her that these are't looked at until later. Could be the same for WL.

But I don't know for sure.

so i received my waitlist letter today (applied 11/17, waitlisted via status checker 1/13, letter post-marked 1/15, received letter 1/18), and was hoping someone could answer a couple of questions.

1) would it greatly increase my chances of being accepted if i now say i'm interested in both the full-time/day and part-time/evening programs? (i had originally only applied to the ft)

2) is it easy to switch from pt to ft once accepted?

I guess one difference between Fordham and a girlfriend is what works to keep them 'on the hook'. Sometimes with schools if you continue to show interest and pursue (LOCI) you may win them over. On the contrary, showing too much interest to a woman and constantly telling them how much you want to be with them= a turned off woman and a lonely man
