Exactly. We happened to be available at the same time, so I decided to drop by and ask a few questions. The issue of more offers was not one of them; it only came up during the conversation.

Which way are you leaning, CR? I'm curious, now that you have only a couple weeks to decide. Have you withdrawn from Yale yet?

I got a rejection yesterday in Boston. Was hoping for a wait list.

Whew! Haven't checked my mail since Thursday so I don't know what's awaitin' me, if anything..but I emailed the SLS admissions office earlier basically saying "hi i want to withdraw, if a negative decision has been rendered plz disregard this email, if a waitlist offer has been extended i don't intend to stay on, kthxbai!!"

It's been a fun ride guys. One that has lasted 5.5 months! And one that for me is finally over.

See some of you at HLS I hope ^_^

Hmm, damn nixxers, I sorta wanted to go to school with you. Anyway, good luck in Cambridge.

Apparently it was mailed yesterday, I haven't received it yet, but I was told over the phone because I have a scholarship deadline tomorrow.

Nope, just don't do it regularly because they'll probably begin to find you annoying.

The people giving the status updates aren't the ones making the decision. Stanford has been the friendliest office I've encountered. Hopefully my LOCI moved me from the reject pile to waitlist pile
