Well hot dang I just got the call.

In with 168/3.98 - applied Jan 20th. (no idea on UR1/2 dates, b/c tbh I didn't think I'd get in, so I didn't bother using the status checker). Think I have pretty decent extras/softs for NYU and applied to the ASPIRE program with an MSEE. Think those might have been factors that helped me significantly.

Upon further review of my email inbox, I actually go their fee waiver on the 20th, and didn't apply until the evening of the 26th. So I guess 2.5 weeks? That's just crazy

I know, I'm wondering if this happened to me too. On their website they were pretty explicit about December being the last score they'll consider and it hasn't been an issue at other schools so I didn't bother reaching out but now I'm contemplating it? Although I guess at this point what's three more weeks of waiting.

Well Vandy blatantly told me they were holding my app for Feb scores. No movement from NYU or UVA since I applied, though

Someone who would like to remain anonymous told me that they had received an interview request today for RTK. I do not know if others also received requests or if this person was just a STELLAR candidate. Don't worry, though, because I stalked last year's thread and the requests (as well as dings) for RTK interviews went out over a few weeks! And as kkdk stated, they are just at the beginning of that process now.

Oof. After reading kkdk's post yesterday, I thought I could spend the week not thinking about it. Ah well! Congrats to your anonymous friend! Did they get the request via phone or email?

Or would they start later, since there are less applicants and less awardees, meaning they have less phone calls to get through? I went UR2 1/17 as well; similar stats [173/3.92] so I feel like next week is gonna be the wave for people with our stats!! I'm feeling good vibes for this crew!!!
