Maybe we should take heart from today's tweet?

Also, eee, weddings! My inner wedding fiend has recently developed, and I'm super excited for you guys and I hope it's beautiful and magical and everything nice. And I look forward to this party. Maybe there will be pastries.

Does anyone know if the LSAC website may have more updated admit/scholly info than the school's online status checker? (For Harvard and other schools)

To the best of my knowledge, no information of this kind is available from LSAC.Ivy2015 wrote:Does anyone know if the LSAC website may have more updated admit/scholly info than the school's online status checker? (For Harvard and other schools)

Okay, I thought so! I just saw a post in another thread saying they found admit info on the LSAC site, but they might have meant the Online Status Checker .WinterComing wrote:To the best of my knowledge, no information of this kind is available from LSAC.Ivy2015 wrote:Does anyone know if the LSAC website may have more updated admit/scholly info than the school's online status checker? Not soft, just strategic. Why fight over one spot when I know at least two other TLSers who will most likely be withdrawing? You don't get to be my age without learning how to pick your battlescantorb wrote:
You're going to let QC take WinterComing's spot without a fight, and you claim you're not soft?

Re: Harvard C/O 2019 Applicants
Hey quick question guys. LSAC just updated my transcript with the Fall grades I sent in, and I imagine they are going to send a new report out to all the schools. Any idea if this will push back when I might receive decisions, just because they need to reassess my file? (Asides from the fact that my grades dropped a bit?)

Re: Harvard C/O 2019 Applicants
This wait is brutal
BUT just wanted to point out--for fellow JS1s still holding out hopes for a JS2--that at least per the LSN data, we're pretty much right on track with last year. This time last year, about 15-20 people had reported being admitted on LSN, and about the same number had reported being rejected.
Graph: http://mylsn.info/d/harvard/1415-NoED/
This year, almost exactly the same: http://harvard.lawschoolnumbers.com/app ... ort=status
This suggests we should be on the verge of a big wave of acceptances, like Feb 2-3 last year (see graph above). This should alleviate any concern that the "big wave" of JS2s has already passed, especially for early applicants. The "big wave" on Feb 2-3 last year included lots and lots of October-November applicants.
So...tomorrow?!?!
ETA okay maybe it shouldn't alleviate any concern, but I'm hopeful

The use of the letters/acronym JS2 outside of a large block of text just gave me a panic attack. Please avoid.oliverotis wrote:Complete, JS2Ivy2015 wrote:Are the numbers on the graph J1, J2 (LSAT, GPA)oliverotis wrote:This wait is brutal

Have other admits been super impressed with the students and alumni that the school puts you in touch with?

January admit, so I might have to wait a bit, but I'm just curious (and excited).
