Can't say I know. Has to be partly because it's USC and they're a bunch of pretentious, entitled fucks. "University of Sexual Ballers." Ha.unclepete wrote:That seems weird with your numbers. Yes, negotiated to 135k after starting at 120k. This was their best effort to match UCLA's full ride. Spolier alert: USC lost.twinkletoes16 wrote:has anyone gotten past the 120k mark for scholarships?

On a related note, any advice on upping the offer after reserving the current scholarship and putting down the first deposit? The only leverage I have at this point is a spot on Northwestern's waitlist....thinking there's not much hope for me.

who really lost is the sucker who will go at sticker to Subsidize your full ride.
Other than Rothman I don't see how you can get a full ride out of USC this year unless maybe you make some kind of deal in which you promise to committ on the spot. Maybe next they will give out full rides if supply of applications keep falling.

So I still haven't gotten an answer since applying in early December...last school of the cycle. C'mon, I just want to know.

Has anyone sent a LOCI while in CR2? Applied Early Jan and would love to provide some updates.

been wondering about this for a while, I expect that's why they made the deadline 5/1 so applicants have virtually no leverage.

Re: USC c/o 2016 Applicants
I hand delivered one when I was stuck on CR1 and ended up being waitlisted. They were pretty shocked though that I had done it and said they might not even be able to consider it with my file, so who knows!Daft wrote:Has anyone sent a LOCI while in CR2? They won't allow you to send in any updates while your file is in review. I tried, but they emailed me back stating their policy, and asked me not to send anything until a decision is made.Daft wrote:Has anyone sent a LOCI while in CR2? Applied Early Jan and would love to provide some updates.

Complete early/mid January, CR1 3/25; any idea when I might get a decision? It has to be soon, right?
