I'm definitely in the same boat. I have family down there and my aunt is a USD Law alum and an attorney is SD so i'd have a free place to stay and a great connection to the local law community but I don't see myself settling in SD and if I don't get money it's just too expensive.

They never sent me a confirmation email. When I called to follow up, they said that they had my app. I thought they might not have a checker or that all that info would come later. Each school is different. Then I received the complete email, but didn't have the status checker log in info it mentioned. I then replied to the email and got the login info (even though the woman swore they had emailed me it).

Truth be told, when I logged in the status checker only had record of 1 email.

I say call and follow up, I know USD is slow though.

USD is super fast, try applying to Davis haha. Davis has only around 3 acceptances so far that I know of (probably around 15 total)

There are three of them. All Mondays in March I believe. (Not totally sure which ones, but I think the first three)

I think he or she meant how many students are in-state and how many are out-of-state. Not sure about the answer though.

Yeah I'm asking because I live in CA and it's a well-known school here but I have no idea how it is perceived out-of-state ... most of the people I know applied to it but that's because we're all CA kids

Seriously have no idea how my application went through so quickly as my numbers aren't anything to write home about. I went complete 1/13, decision rendered 1/14 and received my acceptance packet 1/15
