Re: UCLA?
have there been any early decision acceptances yet? (sorry if this has already been answered, i looked through the thread but didn't see any ED applicants claiming acceptances!)

I am hoping it HELPS! All UCLA law people I have talked to in info sessions seemed to have a soft spot for UCLA UG.hellogoodbye1 wrote:just wondering, does being a ucla undergrad help, hurt, or do nothing as far as chances of acceptance?Hattori Hanzo wrote:Can someone answer this Q? Re: UCLA?
It does. From the UCLA website:ViP wrote:Here's hoping that soft spot reaches the other UCs, too!
The top represented schools by number of students enrolled for fall 2009 are: UCLA, UC Berkeley, University of Southern California, UC San Diego, Stanford University, University of Pennsylvania, Brown University, UC Santa Barbara and Harvard University.
UCSB seems like the oddball out there but whatever. There you have it - 4 UCs in the top 9 represented schools at UCLA Law.

Re: UCLA?
thanks for posting! i hope this isn't just the fact that they get the most applicants from these schools. i know a lot of ucla undergrads who want to stay for law school, myself being one them.crackberry wrote:It does. Re: UCLA?
Well of course that's part of it, but it still says something: UCLA Law takes a lot of UC graduates.hellogoodbye1 wrote:thanks for posting! i hope this isn't just the fact that they get the most applicants from these schools. i know a lot of ucla undergrads who want to stay for law school, myself being one them.crackberry wrote:It does. Re: UCLA?
LA was by snail mail. I'm doing all this at once, I was never really into TLS or LSN until now.

Re: UCLA?
Okay, whew. Not that I really needed yet another status checker to refresh over and over and over...Every1SuxButMe wrote:whoops sorry, that was UT.
And... are you self-promoting your acceptances and LSN profile all over the forum, including schools you... didn't even apply to? (Florida, W&M, St Johns)
Looks like UCLA does snail mail, email, AND/or phone calls. How confusing.

Re: UCLA?
some people have received phone calls and others via snail mail. a buddy of mine also received his through snail mail and we are both in Los Angeles. He doesn't use TLS or LSN, a lot of my friends don't. But I'm new to this, gluck. Look me up on LSN EVERY1SUXBUTME!!! Lol the login ID is from a cartoon show.

It seems like the people who got calls yesterday on LSN found out their scholarships too. (When they updated, they updated that too).jgulia45 wrote:I believe crackberry said it comes later...maybe a couple weeks.Apple Tree wrote:Does anyone know if the financial aid information comes with the acceptance letter?

I think the chances are VERY high that you will. Especially if they accepted you this early when you did RD.Apple Tree wrote:Thanks! Hope they are nice enough to give me some money...

Re: UCLA?
I got my scholarship information with my snail mail acceptance packet, which is how I was notified of admission (no phone call for me).Apple Tree wrote:Does anyone know if the financial aid information comes with the acceptance letter?
