Yes, that's the conventional wisdom.
+1. You should be in within a few weeks or so, which is nice.
I really, really, really hope you guys are right about this. Seems to make sense to me too. I'm kind of falling in love with the idea of Cali/LA.
Does anyone know what the career opps are for a USC student? I hear everything from excellent to not too good

Who wouldn't fall in love with that idea?? Career opps are supposed to be good mostly just around the LA area, but is that a problem? Not in my book.

Mine says "In review" also. Checked it earlier today and it was still at Complete. Not that I am compulsively checking status checkers...

Eh, I've got the same date and I have what should be auto-admit numbers for USC. I wouldn't worry too much.

Career options are equal coming out of either USC/UCLA anywhere in the country (no big difference between the two in terms of placement if you look at the stats). What's more important is how you place in your class at either one of those schools.

Complete since 10/9...ugh...this is not looking to well. Spoke to the adcom lady last week and she looked up my file...she was very friendly but gave me a nice laugh...the sadistic kind that means I'm getting dinged...FML...

Well, I'm glad I'm not alone anymore are "In Review," as I've been there twice already since being complete in October. I was beginning to think that it might have been a bad sign!

Does USC have class rankings now? I seem to recall the admissions director saying they didn't during my visit.

Maybe?? It's dated 12/15, though, which is Tuesday. So probably it changed sometime after 3 pm on Tuesday afternoon, approximately the last time that I visited the status checker. I wonder if the status checker tells you when they move to a decision.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
