No, not an admissions officer. I just have very vague visions including only school emblems and user avatars. For instance, a big blue Y and a cat licking a lollipop.

In more concrete terms, the 179/3.9 Ivy and Computer Science major is a pretty delicious combination, made even more delectable by the super softs that were surely accumulated during those 3-4 years off.

And we were right: the first group of admits was very, very small! Although it didn't take a prophet as accomplished as V6 to foresee that development.

To head off the inevitable: 3.97, 170. Decided not to go through the agony of retaking LSAT due to softs, which may help answer the "How did a 170 get into Yale early?!?" PMs I've received.

(Edited to make me seem less absurd. I was excited and it came out wrong!)

Oops the way I put it makes me sound totally ridiculous. I just felt that the marginal gain from retaking wasn't worth the time that could be better spent pursuing things I really cared about.

Completely random observation: has anyone noticed how Yale is really cat-friendly so far? First, there's marbletop with her adorable avatar, then there's "catwoman," now there's a tabby something-or-other on LSN.
