For those that received a decision, what was it and are you instate or out?

You can get a general idea of what numbers have been accepted/rejected/waitlisted and if they are in or out of state on LSN.

To answer your question, no.

However, my application was received 12/01/08 and was under review as of 02/17/09.

WTF Houston?!?! I have had my application in since October (160, 3.7) and they still have not gotten back to me. My file has been in review since 2-10. Anyways, I made the early decision deadline and guess when they said they'd get back to us at the latest? The end of February. And guess what today is? The last day of February!! And Still No Response! Uggh! I know that they've been sending out some decisions on Sunday's so I'm hoping tomorrow is the day, although I've pretty much lost hope in them ever getting back to me. Dramatic I know, but seriously.

to be fair, I've applied to a lot of schools where I've been complete for months and still haven't heard anything, and they don't even have status checkers. also, where did you see that UH would decide for ED by end of feb? I don't recall seeing that

It is posted on their website. I also called a couple weeks ago and they said it would be by the end of February.

I received my admission email to UH on March 17th last year. So, it should be coming out shortly for everyone waiting. And I didn't get financial aid until a few weeks after that.

I received an e-mail from the Asst. Dean of Admissions a while back confirming receipt of application. Last week, I e-mailed her expressing my interest in the school due to it's stature as #2 in Health Law. Also, gave a little background on why I feel I would add to the class of U of H, blah, blah, blah and further reasons why I was interested. She e-mailed immediately back and said she'd put it in my file and to please feel free to contact her with any other questions. Generic - I know, but it couldn't hurt.

Josh - thanks for letting us know that! You know how we are feeling right now! How are you enjoying Houston and U of H? I am from Lake Charles, LA, so I love Houston!
