In the past, not getting a 2nd Reserve email meant ding. Before the 2nd reserve email, interview requests had gone out. Has no one gotten an interview request? That could mean they're going out of order this year.

What if this is the year Columbia admits no one off the wait list

I'm interpreting this as a funnel for the summer. If you're dinged, it's over (obvi, haha). If you get second reserve, you may be interviewed-->drafted later in the summer, and if you're invited to interview today (or soon), you're immediately being considered for spots that are open.

Others thoughts?

Do people get accepted during the summer? Are there openings during the summer? I assumed its over if not now, but hey I'm happy with second reserve lol

It is possible. Or maybe interview/acceptance emails are later in the batch. Since other stated that Columbia confirmed that emails go in batches.

No it's not a "definitely in" type of situation, there has been some people in the past that got an interview request and still got dinged.But good luck ! It's still better than not getting an interview, chances of getting in is higher.

No email. I only sent one LoCi (back after being placed on hold in feb) but damn this hurts. Not unexpected but I guess this doesn't bode well for getting a js1.

Do the emails have to be sent by a person or is it automatic? I think they may be done for the day, but waves could me emails tomorrow too!

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but what is JS1?

No dumb questions it's a request to interview that HLS sends out. Interviews are required for admission there, so a JS1 is considered a big deal
