Yes, I submitted the first day apps opened. And to the other person who asked, I did the video option and talked about "Why Georgetown." The Dean wrote on my acceptance letter that I made a convincing argument in the video, so it seemed to help!dietcoke1 wrote:For everyone that has been admitted already, did you all submit on the first day?
If not, when did you submit? Thanks

I got this same email and thought it was a bit odd, but I was admitted yesterday so I'm sure you'll find out tomorrow !lg77 wrote:Thank you! Since you haven't gotten your letter yet, do you mind sharing where you're located for those of us who are far from DC and still waiting?lg77 wrote:Haven't received anything in the mail yet, but got an email from Dean Cornblatt about the "Decision 2016 Law Forum," and the first line says "First of all, congratulations again on being admitted."
But I wasn't admitted yet...strange.

Does anyone know if last year's ED took the full three weeks before a response? Also, does ED response come through mail also?

Did you submit the Why Georgetown one as just your addendum?I did the "write p. 150 of your autobiography" one, and a Why Georgetown.
And in general, is it fine to do Why School X addendums? Don't most people use them to explain bad grades/bad LSAT?

Applied RD 10/2, got an acceptance letter dated 10/17. LSAT > 75th, GPA < 25th. Didn't do any of the optional essays, but I did do a Diversity Statement and GPA addendum.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
