I just got an email saying I did not get selected to interview for the Gates Scholarship, so for anyone else who applied they may be coming out with all decisions soon. Seriously though, keezmasterflex, kill it at the interview! Congratulations!

Yes, my condolences.

I should have been more specific: I meant any further acceptances.

Although in retrospect, hearing about more rejections would be helpful too just to gauge how far along they are in the process.

Hey guys - I applied to the Gates scholarship (not Gregoire) - haven't heard back yet. From the confirmation e-mail they said they would start sending notifications beginning on March 18th, so looks like they are ahead of schedule. Will update here when I do know. Thanks!

Just notified today that unfortunately I wasn't accepted for the gates public service scholarship. Good look and congrats to all that got an interview!

Nope! I'm still waiting on general scholly news. Hopefully we hear back soon.

Talked to someone at the admissions office on the phone and she said financial aid offers probably aren't going out until Thursday or Friday.

UW student emails? We have UW student emails?

I guess you can set them up. I haven't done that yet, because it was my understanding that merit scholarships were sent to our normal personal emails. The financial aid stuff (loans, grants, etc) are eventually sent to our UW emails. I emailed back for clarification because that information that I got today did not sound right.

I haven't been able to set up an email. Only a forwarding address for the "MyUW" account that doesn't really seem to forward anything I send to it.
