Anyone familiar with Emory know when we can expect the next round of acceptances for those that applied later in the process?

Same. My note actually included some comments about my background that I touched on in my personal statement, which was a really nice bit of personalization.B102 wrote:In yesterday with $$$. Handwritten note on acceptance was a nice touch.

Not sure when we'll get a decision, but I emailed them yesterday about how my app didn't go complete until January 5 and whether or not I should expect news this week and they said they haven't made a decision on my application yet lol so seems like it could be a while.calilaw33 wrote:Anyone familiar with Emory know when we can expect the next round of acceptances for those that applied later in the process?

Yeah, I went complete on Jan 9th, so I must be in the same boat. Gah! The suspense is killing me.lawlaura3494 wrote:Not sure when we'll get a decision, but I emailed them yesterday about how my app didn't go complete until January 5 and whether or not I should expect news this week and they said they haven't made a decision on my application yet lol so seems like it could be a while.calilaw33 wrote:Anyone familiar with Emory know when we can expect the next round of acceptances for those that applied later in the process?

Thank you for the info, and congratulations on the acceptance. Also saw that you were accepted to Vanderbilt, congratulations on that too. You are having one great cycle.janderson821 wrote:bdb90 wrote:How was your admissions decision delivered?janderson821 wrote:Accepted last Friday with $$$

I applied to Emory very early in the cycle and haven't heard back yet. Does that imply bad news?

Looks like they've only recently started sending decisions (via snail mail), so I wouldn't worry about it too much. I've been complete since ~mid November and haven't heard anything FWIW.EmoryHopeful19 wrote:I applied to Emory very early in the cycle and haven't heard back yet. Does that imply bad news?

I just live close by and it seems like the acceptances go out in a big wave at the beginning. Could be wrong, though. Certainly hope I am.Associate wrote:Looks like they've only recently started sending decisions (via snail mail), so I wouldn't worry about it too much. I am sitting in class at Emory at the moment, had dinner with Dean Shapiro on Monday, am above the 75%, and applied in November and havent heard back yet. Dont worry, it means nothing.EmoryHopeful19 wrote:I just live close by and it seems like the acceptances go out in a big wave at the beginning. Could be wrong, though. Have any ED admits heard anything about financial aid?

Curious about this as well. I was admitted through ED on 1/28 via email. Waiting for my packet to come in. I am expecting to learn scholarship info, how to apply for need-based loans, housing, etc. from the packet.Bueller wrote:Have any ED admits heard anything about financial aid?

Anyone know if there's conditions for scholarship money? It doesn't say anything on the letter.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
