Anyone familiar with Emory know when we can expect the next round of acceptances for those that applied later in the process?

Same. My note actually included some comments about my background that I touched on in my personal statement, which was a really nice bit of personalization.

Not sure when we'll get a decision, but I emailed them yesterday about how my app didn't go complete until January 5 and whether or not I should expect news this week and they said they haven't made a decision on my application yet lol so seems like it could be a while.

Yeah, I went complete on Jan 9th, so I must be in the same boat. Gah! The suspense is killing me.

Thank you for the info, and congratulations on the acceptance. Also saw that you were accepted to Vanderbilt, congratulations on that too. You are having one great cycle.

I applied to Emory very early in the cycle and haven't heard back yet. Does that imply bad news?

Looks like they've only recently started sending decisions (via snail mail), so I wouldn't worry about it too much. I've been complete since ~mid November and haven't heard anything FWIW.

I just live close by and it seems like the acceptances go out in a big wave at the beginning. Could be wrong, though. Certainly hope I am.

I am sitting in class at Emory at the moment, had dinner with Dean Shapiro on Monday, am above the 75%, and applied in November and havent heard back yet. Dont worry, it means nothing.

Curious about this as well. I was admitted through ED on 1/28 via email. Waiting for my packet to come in. I am expecting to learn scholarship info, how to apply for need-based loans, housing, etc. from the packet.

Anyone know if there's conditions for scholarship money? It doesn't say anything on the letter.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
