I've requested two fee waivers by email and gotten them both. I got a fee waiver to UT automatically because I'm in-state. Just a tip: sometimes it's less imposing if you ask to ask instead of just asking (I've found this works with scholarship negotiations too). So instead of saying, "Could I have a fee waiver?" you might say, "My budget is really tight right now, and I would really like to apply as soon as possible. Would it be alright if I requested a fee waiver?"

Well I hope you end up attending. Texas is an easy choice for me because I live less than 20 miles from the School of Law, but the most attractive things about UT Law is the collegiate atmosphere and the professors.From what I hear, it's more laid-back than even a lot of lower-ranked schools--but still more than sufficiently rigorous. And Austin is an outstanding place to live.

hahaha My love for orange is immeasurable. I have on an orange shirt right now. Oklahoma State was where I did my UG. So I'm very fond of the color.

Burnt is not a favorite hue of mine, but I think I could learn to like it

I have submitted finally as well, I don't particularly like my chances but UT is by far my number one choice, really hoping to at least get a "Why Texas?" request.

Just got an email to join the C/O 2019 Facebook group, but I haven't gotten an acceptance call/email, and my status checker hasn't updated since October. Anyone else receive the email about Facebook without an acceptance?

This exact thing happened to me a while ago. I got the email about joining the Facebook group without a call or an email. A few days later I got an email about being accepted
