Re: WUSTL Class of 2019 Applicants
Awesome--you both give me hope! I'm still waiting on my first acceptance, which is probably why I'm both anxious and paranoidslippin_jimmy wrote:Yes, I think it will vary applicant to applicant but the process is still fast for some. I was accepted same day as interview, whole process was under a week, could have been shorter but my own availability delayed the interview.Generally wrote:I applied Wednesday, got interview request Thursday, and interview Friday. So far it is still pretty fast.vested wrote:Checking in, app submitted! Hoping to beat some of the rush when Oct scores come out, but it seems like things are already starting to slow down in terms of response times, etc.
Either way, I'd say it was a smart move to get in before October takers. Hope it'll go quickly!!

Re: WUSTL Class of 2019 Applicants
Figure I should check in now. I applied on the 8th and got an interview invite on the 9th. I interviewed on the 14th, was accepted on the 15th and just got a full scholarship today. Very happy to have that as a baseline option so early in the cycle.
Congrats to everyone else who has been accepted!

Re: WUSTL Class of 2019 Applicants
From what my interviewer told me the scholarship committee is meeting pretty regularly. I would guess no less than once a week. So if you are anything like me I would be looking for it sometime between tomorrow and next Monday. That's completely 100% my own guessing though.Generally wrote:How long does scholarship info usually take after acceptances?

Out of curiosity, has anyone applied as part of the Binding Early Decision Program?

And good to know about questions! I've come up with a few, but I'll brainstorm a few more tonight...or today at work. Probably at work.

Re: WUSTL Class of 2019 Applicants
Applied a couple days after the application opened. Received a request to interview within the next couple of days. Interviewed with WUSTL (very casual, informational interview). Accepted via email exactly two weeks after the interview date, received full scholarship email shortly after. Didn't hear anything until ASW info in March. Last year was the first year they did ED so I feel like they were somewhat discombobulated about the whole process. If you have any specific questions (about ED, the school in general, STL) about anything, let me know!marmadukeishere wrote:What was the process like?acr wrote:yes. current 1L who applied ED last year and was acceptedmarmadukeishere wrote:Out of curiosity, has anyone applied as part of the Binding Early Decision Program?

Re: WUSTL Class of 2019 Applicants
Short of you having cussed out your interviewer, I think your delay probably has more to do with extraneous factors, like some members of the adcomm being out of town (there's a lot of law school fairs, etc. going on right about now--at least that's what these emails from every TTT/TTTT school is telling me), than with any chance you're getting something other than an admit.LittleGiants16 wrote:Submitted on 10/7.

Re: WUSTL Class of 2019 Applicants
Last cycle some students were awarded travel stipends in varying amounts. $100, $100 + one night hotel, $200, and $200 + one night hotel were typical but there were probably other amounts. Many people did not get offered a travel stipend.

Re: WUSTL Class of 2019 Applicants
They also offer a reimbursement for your move. I didn't visit before enrolling so they paid for my gas from my move over to STL. I'm not sure if this is an either/or situation, or if you could get both a travel stipend and a move reimbursement. Those of you who don't take them up on the travel stipend or aren't offered the stipend should keep that in mind.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
