Unless they don't do UR on the checker, in which case this is completely irrelevant and sorry for wasting everyone's time.
Also curious about this
Penn said they wouldn't begin review until November in the complete email. The status checker will go UR twice but I'm pretty sure no one has gone UR1.

I applied ED and I am still 'complete.' According to the c/o 2018 thread, Penn Law uses the phrase "Under Committee Review." Moreover, it appear that applicants started to go UR around November 26th last year. HTH.

Hey guys!

Question about the optional essays. May we write more than one one-page additional essay? I have a pretty strong diversity statement, but I would also like to submit a "Why Penn" essay.

Can I submit both? The language in the "optional essays" section seems a bit ambiguous:

"If you wish, you may write an additional essay on any of the following topics. These optional essays allow you an opportunity to provide the admissions committee with additional relevant information that you were not able to include in your personal statement. Please include the essay with your application by electronically attaching it to your application before submission through LSAC. You may answer more than one essay topic if you so choose. Include your name and LSAC account number on each page. Please limit any optional essay to one page, double-spaced and title it appropriately."

Thanks!

My reading of that would be yes, you can write more than one one-page essay. "You may answer more than one essay topic if you so choose" seems pretty clear, just be sure to limit each of the essays to one page. The whole document can be multiple pages, though, as implied by the bit about the LSAC account number.

1. You can do more than one essay.
2. Each essay should NOT be more than one page double spaced.
3. Each of the optional essays should have your information at the top.
4. You should read each topic prompt to make sure you are writing an optional essay that they are asking for and not some random essay of your choice.

The Core Values essay is generally the place to do your Why Penn.

Wharton Student Here. Don't know why you would want Penn Law. Pretty much the filth of the Penn community, lower than the med school.

User has been warned for trolling.

Don't bash it just because you were not intelligent enough to get into Penn Law. GMAT is a joke. Oh, and by the way, Ohio State sucks. Brah

I misread this as you saying you were in and had a heart attack. I'm also under review - applied ED 10/29.
