I'm like, 90% sure my application is collecting dust in a cobweb-ridden desk drawer somewhere.

Yeah but they can't see that until June, I'm just not sold on Fordham yet and I have another school I want to deposit also. It doesn't say anything in any of the emails I was given and the admitted students sight isn't working right now.

After 2 months of waiting, I just e-mailed the admissions office and it turns out they forgot to send me my scholarship offer and sent it right after I asked. Just ping them and they'll probably let you know on the spot.BB2014 wrote:Does anyone know how long it took to hear about scholarships?

Amen. I may just withdraw--I'm sure I don't want to go, but still...I need the affirmation.Jessicakes90 wrote:I'm like, 90% sure my application is collecting dust in a cobweb-ridden desk drawer somewhere.

On a side note I talked to someone at admissions and they dint have a policy against double depositing. They said obviously they'd prefer students didn't but they understand. I hope that helps someone!

This is a tough process for everyone and I am not trying to be rude. I was recently accepted and won't have time to visit before the deadline. I have the right to do what's best for me during this time, as do other people. I've been waitlisted elsewhere. The snarky comments aren't warranted or benefit anyone.

Re: Fordham University School of Law C/O 2018 Applicants
You're making it a tougher process for others by taking up spots and undermining the point of seat deposits by double dipping. If you're doing it for yourself, that's your prerogative. But to broadcast double dipping strategies on a national forum such as this is not coolBB2014 wrote:whizkid89 wrote:Waitlistees must love youBB2014 wrote:On a side note I talked to someone at admissions and they dint have a policy against double depositing. This forum is to help future law students in ALL different situations. Look at other schools in this forum, this is an openly talked about issue. I asked this question earlier in the week because I was recently accepted and I am not going to put all my eggs in one basket when I haven't visited. Since no one had the answer for me, when I found out the answer I wanted to post what I learned to help someone else. If you think I'm the only one doing this you're delusional. Also you don't know me or my intentions, so it's "not cool" to accuse me and single me out for something I was posting only to help others. I have been waitlisted and rejected, it's part of the process. I have also withdrawn from schools in order to help students on waitlists and I know other students have done that as well. I stick by what I'm doing and have a right to do so. Which law school you attend is expensive and massive choice and I won't make it lightly. Why I posted was merely to help others that are in a similar situation as myself and I would never want to publicly offend anyone.

Re: Fordham University School of Law C/O 2018 Applicants
What are the chances you even make it off of the waitlist for Fordham? I was waitlisted back in Feb and I already sent in a LOR, LOCI and paid the school a visit.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
